Lindsey Parkin

Lindsey's passion for horses began during her early years in Michigan. As a teenager, she immersed herself in horses including mucking stalls at a large dressage facility and guiding trail rides in a state park. Driven by her love for horses, Lindsey relocated to the East Coast, where she enrolled in Johnson and Wales University and earned an Associates degree in Equine Science, laying a strong foundation for her future endeavors. Following her studies, Lindsey accepted a working student position with Bill Warren and Bill McMullin in both Rhode Island and Wellington, FL. For the past 15 years, Lindsey has had the privilege of working under FEI trainer and rider Diane Catanzaro. This invaluable experience has allowed her to continuously improve her training techniques and learn from many seasoned industry professionals. Lindsey has trained horses through fourth level and competed through third level on horses she has developed from scratch. Lindsey's versatility shines through her enjoyment of working with all breeds of horses and riders of all skill levels. In addition to her equine experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge from her role as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. With years of experience in both Mental Health and Physical Rehab settings, Lindsey possesses in-depth understanding of learning styles and human anatomy. This unique perspective enriches her teaching and training methods, ensuring a comprehensive and holistic approach.
